When it comes to health and fitness it’s an important question. What motivates you? What is it that makes you show up for that early AM workout, to work harder or to push through when you’re at your edge? For many it’s the desire to reach a specific goal like finishing a road race, feeling stronger and healthier or even losing those last few inches. For me, it’s all about the adventure. Where will my next run take me? What new challenging exercise can I create or conquer during my next workout? What will take me out of my comfort zone? (Which is not a place I especially like to be.) Regardless of your motivation it’s one of the most valuable tools in your fitness tool belt. Embrace it, share it and appreciate that you have found the golden ticket to a lifetime of healthier living!
