Recovery, your most important workout day.

 

Leg day becomes much less effective when you skip your recovery. All muscles need a chance to build gains by not being asked to perform again for a short period of time. Generally one day is sufficient but if you’re experiencing significant DOMS or if you generally feel fatigued give your body a chance to reboud. Of course, proper nutrition, hydration and sufficient sleep are all part of the larger recovery picture so make sure you’re properly fueling the machine.
